• રાજ્ય સરકારે ખેડૂતોના હિતમાં અનેકવિધ નિર્ણયો કર્યા છે ત્યારે કેટલાક ખેડૂત વિરોધી તત્વો ખેડૂતોને ગેરમાર્ગે દોરવાનું કામ કરી રહ્યા છે, તે અત્યંત નિંદનીય છે. જે ખેડૂતો કૃષિ રાહત પેકેજનો લાભ લે છે તેવા ખેડૂતોની ટેકાના ભાવે ખરીદી થશે નહિ અથવા તો જે ખેડૂતોની ટેકાના ભાવે ખરીદી થશે તેવા ખેડૂતોને કૃષિ રાહત પેકેજનો લાભ નહિ મળે એ વાત તદ્દન ખોટી અને પાયાવિહોણી છે એમ કૃષિમંત્રી શ્રી આર.સી. ફળદુએ જણાવ્યું છે.

• તેમણે કહ્યું કે ખરીફ - 2020 ની સિઝનમાં કેન્દ્ર સરકારની નાફેડ એજન્સી દ્વારા ટેકાના ભાવે મગફળી ખરીદી કરવા માટે ૧ લી ઓક્ટોબરથી રજીસ્ટ્રેશન શરૂ કરવામાં આવ્યું છે. જેમાં તેણે માહિતી આપી ત્યાં સુધીમાં 3,71,395 ખેડૂતોએ રજીસ્ટ્રેશન કરાવ્યું છે. જે ગત વર્ષની સરખામણીમાં 79 ટકા નોંધણી થઈ છે. હજુ રજીસ્ટ્રેશન પ્રક્રિયા ચાલુ છે. 
• ૨૧ મી ઓક્ટોબરથી નાફેડ દ્વારા નિયુક્ત રાજ્યની નોડલ એજન્સી , ગુજરાત રાજ્ય અન્ન અને નાગરિક પુરવઠા નિગમ મારફતે ટેકાના ભાવે મગફળીની ખરીદી શરુ કરાશે. મગફળી ઉપરાંત ડાંગર, મકાઈ , અડદ , મગ , બાજરી અને સોયાબીનની પણ ટેકાના ભાવે ખરીદી કરવાનો નિર્ણય લેવાયો છે.
• ચાલુ સાલે ખરીફ ૨૦૨૦માં ઓગસ્ટમાં ભારે વરસાદને કારણે વિવિધ પાકોમાં નુકસાન માટે સહાય આપવા માટે રૂપિયા 3700 કરોડનું કૃષિ રાહત પેકેજ જાહેર કર્યું છે. 
• જેમાં SDRF હેઠળ પાક નુકસાનીમાં જે ખેડૂતોને ૩૩ ટકા કે તેથી વધારે નુકસાન થયું હોય તેવા ખેડૂતોને હેક્ટર દીઠ રૂપિયા 10000 વધારેમાં વધારે 2 હેકટરની મર્યાદામાં ચૂકવવામાં આવશે, પરંતુ સરકારની ખેડૂતલક્ષી નીતિને સહન ન કરી શકનાર કેટલાક લોકો ખેડૂતોને ગેરમાર્ગે દોરવા અને સરકારને બદનામ કરવા માટે અપ્રચાર કરી રહ્યા છે, કે જે ખેડૂતો કૃષિ રાહત પેકેજનો લાભ લે છે , તેવા ખેડૂતોની ટેકાના ભાવે ખરીદી થશે નહિ અથવા તો જે ખેડૂતોની ટેકાના ભાવે ખરીદી થશે તેવા ખેડૂતોને કૃષિ રાહત પેકેજનો લાભ મળશે નહિ. આ પ્રકારની વાતો ખેડૂતોને ગેરમાર્ગે દોરનારી છે એવું કૃષિમંત્રી આર,સી.ફળદુએ જણાવ્યું હતું.

• While the state government has taken various decisions in the interest of the farmers while some anti-farmer elements are working to mislead the farmers, it is highly reprehensible. It is totally wrong and baseless to say that farmers who take advantage of the agricultural relief package will not be bought at the support price or farmers who will be bought at the support price will not get the benefit of the agricultural relief package, said Agriculture Minister Shri R.C. Faldu has stated.
•  He said that registration for purchase of groundnuts at support price has been started from October 1 by the NAFED agency of the Central Government for the Kharif-2020 season. As many as 3,71,395 farmers have registered so far. Which is 79 per cent more than last year. The registration process is still ongoing.
• Purchasing of groundnuts at support price will start from October 31 through NAFED-appointed state nodal agency, Gujarat State Food and Civil Supplies Corporation. Apart from groundnuts, paddy, maize, urad, mug, millet and soybean will also be procured at support prices.
• An agricultural relief package of Rs 3,700 crore has been announced in August this year to provide relief to various crops due to heavy rains in August.
• Under SDRF, farmers who have suffered a loss of 33% or more in crop damage will be paid Rs 10,000 per hectare up to a maximum of 2 hectares, but some people who cannot tolerate the government's pro-farmer policy are misleading the farmers and defaming the government. That is, farmers who take advantage of the agricultural relief package will not be purchased at the support price of farmers or farmers who will be purchased at the support price of farmers will not get the benefit of the agricultural relief package. This kind of talk is misleading to the farmers, said Agriculture Minister R. C. Faldu.
