SVAMITVA - Survey of Villages and Mapping with Improved Technology in Village Areas Scheme. property card સ્વામિત્વ યોજના 

Now every rural of the country will become strong. The central government has started work to make the people living in the village economically powerful.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi today launched the SVAMITVA scheme. The scheme will empower the people living in the villages financially. PM Modi launched a scheme to distribute property cards to landowners through video conferencing under SVAMITVA - Survey of Villages and Mapping with Improved Technology in Village Areas Scheme.

PM Modi described the scheme as a major turning point for rural India.

On the occasion, Union Agriculture Minister Narendra Tomar said that the scheme was an attempt to resolve the dispute over property in the villages.

Under this scheme, mapping of property will be done through drones in all the villages of the country and the villagers will get a certificate of ownership of their property.

He said that by 202, people living in villages will get property cards.

These states will benefit.

Under this scheme people from 6 villages of 6 states will get benefit. This will include 4 villages in Uttar Pradesh, 21 in Haryana, 100 in Maharashtra, 4 in Madhya Pradesh, 20 in Uttarakhand and 2 in Karnataka.


Beneficiaries from all the states except Maharashtra will receive the physical card within a day.

While it may take up to a month for landowners in Maharashtra to get a property card.

Easily get a loan

The scheme will enable landowners to use their assets as financial assets. It can be used for financial gain including loan application.

What is an ownership plan

This is a special scheme started by the Ministry of Panchayati Raj of the Central Government. In this regard, Prime Minister Narendra Modi announced the National Panchayat Day on April 24, 2020.

The purpose of this scheme is to distribute property cards to the people of rural areas for giving records of rights.

This scheme will be implemented in phases in 3 years.

It is to be completed between 2020 and 206.

Out of this 1 lakh villages will be included in the initial phase during 2020-21.

This phase will include villages in Uttar Pradesh, Haryana, Maharashtra, Madhya Pradesh, Uttarakhand, and Karnataka as well as some border villages in Punjab and Rajasthan.
