  • Social Justice and Empowerment Department Resolution No. UPGAG / 102017/30 / N.B.A./Ch.1, dated 31-8-16 has approved the scheme of financial assistance for marriage to persons with disabilities and general persons with disabilities. Under this scheme, provision was made to sanction financial assistance of Rs. 30,000 / - in case of marriage of a person with disability as well as financial assistance of Rs. 20,000 / - in case of common person with disability deciding with each other. After that the resolution no. The amount of assistance has been increased to Rs. 50,000 / - from April 10, 2016/40917 / six-1, dated 21-05-2017.

  • 1. Considering the situation of the handicapped sisters of the state so that they can live with dignity in the society, it is known as a scheme of financial assistance for marriage to persons with disabilities and persons with disabilities belonging to each category.

  • 2. The purpose of this scheme is to provide phased marriage assistance to the disabled in a timely manner.

  • . Key Eligibility Criteria for this Scheme:
  • The girl should be above 18 years of age and the boy should be over 21 years of age.
  • The benefit of this scheme will be available only once.
  • . The standard of assistance.

  • Under this scheme, the couple of marriage assistance couple will be eligible for assistance of Rs. 50,000 / - + Rs. 30,000 / - (Rupees fifty thousand in number). Also, in case a common man with disability marries each other, a person with disability will be entitled to Rs. 50,000 / -.
  • W. The following support / evidence should be included with the application.
  • Certified copy of Disability Identity Card or Disability Pattern of Civil Surgeon.
  • Certified copy of School Leaving Certificate of both
  • Certified copy of ration card.
  • Combined photos of both / wedding kankotri.
  • Certified copy of the registration certificate registered in the office of the Registrar of Marriages.


વિકલાંગથી વિકલાંગ અને વિકલાંગથી સામાન્ય વ્યકિતઓને લગ્ન માટે આર્થિક સહાયની યોજના

સામાજિક ન્‍યાય અને અધિકારીતા વિભાગના ઠરાવ ક્રમાંકઃઅપગ/૧૦ર૦૧૩/૮૩૩૯૬૦ /ન.બા.-૮/છ.૧, તા.૩૧-૭-૧૪ થી વિકલાંગથી વિકલાંગ અને વિકલાંગથી સામાન્ય વ્યકિતઓને લગ્ન માટે આર્થિક સહાયની યોજના મંજુર કરવામાં આવેલ છે. આ યોજના હેઠળ વિકલાંગ વ્યકિત એક બીજા સાથે લગ્ન કરે ત્યારે રુ.૨૦,૦૦૦/- ની આર્થિક સહાય તેમજ વિકલાંગથી સામાન્ય વ્યકિતએક બીજા સાથે નકકી કરે તેવા કિસ્સામાં રુ.ર૦,૦૦૦/- ની આર્થિક સહાય મંજુર કરવાની જોગવાઇ કરવામાં આવેલ હતી. ત્‍યાર બાદ વિભાગના ઠરાવ ક્ર. અપગ/૧૦ર૦૧૬/૩૦૯૧૪ર/છ-૧, તા.ર૧-પ-ર૦૧૬ થી સહાયની રકમ રુ.પ૦,૦૦૦/- કરવામાં આવેલ છે.
 
૧.રાજયની વિકલાંગ બહેનોની પરિસ્‍થિતિ ધ્‍યાને લઇ તેઓ સમાજમાં સન્‍માનપૂર્વક જીવી શકે તે હેતુથી દરેક કેટેગરીની વિકલાંગતા ધરાવતી વિકલાંગથી વિકલાંગ અને વિકલાંગથી સામાન્ય વ્યકિતઓને લગ્ન માટે આર્થિક સહાયની યોજના તરીકે ઓળખવામાં આવે છે.

ર. આ યોજનાનો હેતુઃ ખાસ કરીને વિકલાંગને સમયબધ્‍ધ રીતે તબકકાવાર લગ્નસહાય પુરી પાડવામાં આવે છે.

૩. આ યોજનાની પાત્રતાની મુખ્‍ય શરતોઃ
  • કન્યાની ઉંમર ૧૮ વર્ષથી ઉપર અને છોકરાની ઉંમર ૨૧ વર્ષથી વધુ હોવી જોઇએ.
  • આ યોજનાનો લાભ ફકત એક જ વખત મળવાપાત્ર રહેશે.
૪. સહાયનું ધોરણ.

  • આ યોજના હેઠળ લગ્ન સહાયની યુગલની બન્‍ને વ્‍યકિતને રુ.પ૦,૦૦૦/- + રુ.૫૦,૦૦૦/- (અંકે રુપિયા પચાસ હજાર પુરા) ની સહાય મળવાપાત્ર થશે. તેમજ વિકલાંગથી સામાન્‍ય વ્‍યકિત એક બીજા સાથે લગ્‍ન કરે તેવા કિસ્‍સામાં વિકલાંગ વ્‍યકિતને રુ.પ૦,૦૦૦/- મળવાપાત્ર થશે.
પ. અરજી સાથે નીચે મુજબના આધાર/ પુરાવાઓ સામેલ રાખવાના રહેશે.
