According to the report of the local newspaper Al Masry Al Youm, the woman beggar lived in a wheelchair and showed herself as if her leg was cut. She used to go around begging in many states of Egypt.

gulfnews.com ગલ્ફન્યુઝ.કોમના અહેવાલ મુજબ આ મહિલા ભિક્ષુક ઇજિપ્તની બેંકમાં આશરે  1.5 કરોડ રૂપિયા છે. પોલીસે ભિખારીની ધરપકડ કરી છે અને તેની પૂછપરછ કરવામાં આવી રહી છે.



સ્થાનિક અખબાર Al Masry Al Youm ના અહેવાલ મુજબ, મહિલા ભિખારી વ્હીલચેરમાં રહેતી હતી અને જાણે પોતાનો પગ કાપતી હોય તેવું પોતાને બતાવ્યું હતું. તે ઇજિપ્તનાં ઘણાં રાજ્યોમાં ભીખ માંગતી હતી.



મહિલા ભીખ માંગતી વખતે વ્હીલચેરમાં હતી, પરંતુ બાકીનો સમય તે પગ સાથે ચાલતી હતી. એવું કહેવામાં આવે છે કે જ્યારે એક વ્યક્તિએ મહિલાને પગ સાથે ચાલતા જોયો ત્યારે આ મામલો બહાર આવ્યો હતો.

મહિલાનું નામ નફીસા તરીકે વર્ણવવામાં આવ્યું છે. પોલીસને તપાસમાં એ પણ જાણવા મળ્યું છે કે મહિલાને કોઈ રોગ નથી. તપાસ દરમિયાન જ ભિખારીના બે બેંક ખાતામાં 1 કરોડ 42 લાખ રૂપિયાની જમા કર્યા હોવાની માહિતી મળી છે.
