  • People of Scheduled Castes who are in poor financial condition of the family for posthumous action on the occasion of death of a family member. 5000 / - financial assistance is provided.
  • Terms and Conditions
  • The deceased person as well as the applicant should be of Scheduled Caste only.
  • The annual income limit of the applicant should not exceed Rs. 120000 / - for rural area and  150000 / - for urban area.
  • Applications must be made within a six-month period of death.
  • The death registration certificate of the deceased will be mandatory.
  • Only one person in the household of the deceased will be able to avail the benefit at that time.

  • Proof of Residence (Electricity Bill / License / Lease Agreement / Election Card / Ration Card any one)
  • Death certificate
  • Copy of the first page of the back passbook / canceled check (in the name of the applicant)

  • Certificate of annual income
  • Certificate of caste / sub-caste obtained from competent officer
