The National Means cum Merit Scholarship NMMS

The National Means cum Merit Scholarship NMMS scheme for students studying in Std. VIII with the objective of reducing the drop out rate in secondary and higher secondary schools so that bright students with poor financial status in the state can complete their studies up to Std. Implemented from New Delhi.

State Examination Board Gandhinagar will conduct an examination on Sunday 28/02/2021 to select the beneficiary students for this scholarship.

Applications for this exam should not be filled online on the website www.sebexam.org from 19/11/2020 to 19/12/2020.

Scholarship amount and rules of payment

After the examination, the students who come in merit in the district-wise category-wise quota will be entitled to a scholarship of Rs.1000 / - per month and Rs.12000 / - per annum.

Payment of Scholarship Amount M.H.R.D. Eligible students are eligible for M.H.R.D. from the Ministry of Human Resource and Development, Government of India. Will be through New Delhi.

Scholarship Amount M.H.R.D. Will be directly in the bank account of the beneficiary students through the National Scholarship Portal.

Qualification of the student

Students who are studying in Government Primary Schools, Local Body Schools, District Panchayat / Municipal / Municipal Schools and Granted Primary Schools in Std. VIII in the current academic year N.M.M.S. Will be able to give the exam.

General category and OBC category students should have got at least 5% marks or equivalent grade in standard seven. Students of Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes should have obtained a grade in Std. 7 with at least 50% marks.

Only students whose parents have an annual income of more than 1,50,000 names in all categories will be able to appear for the exam.

Students of private schools (private schools / self finance), Kendriya Vidyalaya, Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya and residential schools run by state government institutions which provide accommodation, meals and study facilities will not be able to fill up the application form in this examination.

રાજ્યમાં નબળી આર્થિક સ્થિતિ ધરાવતા તેજસ્વી વિદ્યાર્થીઓ ધોરણ-૧૨ સુધી અભ્યાસ પૂર્ણ કરી શકે તથા માધ્યમિક તથા ઉચ્ચતર માધ્યમિક શાળામાં ડ્રોપ આઉટ દર ઘટે તે હેતુથી ધોરણ આઠ માં અભ્યાસ કરતા વિદ્યાર્થીઓ માટે નેશનલ મીન્સ કમ મેરીટ સ્કોલરશીપ એન એમ એમ એસ નામની યોજના M.H.R.D. ન્યૂ ડેલ્હી તરફથી અમલમાં મુકવામાં આવેલ છે.

રાજ્ય પરીક્ષા બોર્ડ ગાંધીનગર દ્વારા તારીખ 28/02/ 2021 રવિવારના રોજ આ શિષ્યવૃતિ માટે લાભાર્થી વિદ્યાર્થીઓની પસંદગી કરવા માટે પરીક્ષા યોજવામાં આવશે.

આ પરીક્ષા માટેના આવેદનપત્રો www.sebexam.org વેબસાઈટ પર તારીખ 19/11/2020 થી તારીખ 19/12/2020 દરમિયાન ઓનલાઈન ભરવા ના રહેશે.

શિષ્યવૃત્તિની રકમ તથા ચુકવણી ના નિયમો

પરીક્ષા બાદ જિલ્લાવાર કેટેગરી વાર નિયત કવોટામાં મેરીટમાં આવતા વિદ્યાર્થીઓને માસિક રૂપિયા 1000 લેખે વાર્ષિક રૂપિયા 12000 મુજબ ચાર વર્ષ સુધી નિયત પાત્રતા ધરાવતા વિદ્યાર્થીઓને શિષ્યવૃત્તિ મળવાપાત્ર થશે.

શિષ્યવૃત્તિની રકમની ચુકવણી M.H.R.D. ની ગાઈડલાઈન અનુસાર પાત્રતા ધરાવતા વિદ્યાર્થીઓને ભારત સરકારના માનવ સંસાધન અને વિકાસ મંત્રાલય M.H.R.D. ન્યૂ દિલ્હી દ્વારા થશે.

શિષ્યવૃત્તિની રકમ M.H.R.D. દ્વારા સીધી જ લાભાર્થી વિદ્યાર્થીઓના બેંક ખાતામાં નેશનલ સ્કોલરશીપ પોર્ટલ મારફતે થશે.

વિદ્યાર્થી ની લાયકાત

જે વિદ્યાર્થી ચાલુ શૈક્ષણિક વર્ષમાં ધોરણ આઠ માં સરકારી પ્રાથમિક શાળાઓ, લોકલ બોડી શાળાઓમાં, જીલ્લા પંચાયત / મહાનગરપાલિકા / નગરપાલિકા ની શાળાઓ અને ગ્રાન્ટેડ પ્રાથમિક શાળાઓમાં અભ્યાસ કરતા હોય તેવા વિદ્યાર્થીઓ N.M.M.S. ની પરીક્ષા આપી શકશે.

જનરલ કેટેગરી તથા ઓબીસી કેટેગરીના વિદ્યાર્થીએ ધોરણ સાતમાં ઓછામાં ઓછા ૫૫ ટકા ગુણ કે સમકક્ષ ગ્રેડ મેળવ્યો હોવો જોઈએ. અનુસૂચિત જાતિ અને અનુસૂચિત જનજાતિ ના વિદ્યાર્થીઓ ધોરણ સાતમાં ઓછામાં ઓછા ૫૦ ટકા ગુણ સાથે સમક્ષ ગ્રેડ મેળવ્યો હોવો જોઈએ.

તમામ કેટેગરીના વિદ્યાર્થીઓ ના વાલીની વાર્ષિક આવક 1,50,000 થી વધુ નામ હોય તેવા વિદ્યાર્થી જ આ પરીક્ષા આપી શકશે.

ખાનગી શાળાઓ ( પ્રાઇવેટ શાળા / સેલ્ફ ફાઇનાન્સ) , કેન્દ્રીય વિદ્યાલય, જવાહર નવોદય વિદ્યાલય તથા જે શાળાઓમાં રહેવા, જમવા અને અભ્યાસની સગવડ પૂરી પાડવામાં આવતી હોય તેવી રાજ્ય સરકારની સંસ્થાઓ દ્વારા ચાલતી નિવાસી શાળા ના વિદ્યાર્થીઓ આ પરીક્ષામાં આવેદનપત્ર ભરી શકશે નહીં.
